Education: Harrow School, Hammersmith & Epsom College of Art & Design and Malmo Fotoskolan Sweden.
Assisted Sam Haskins, Barry Lategan and John Garrett for 2years 1972-4.
Worked as a commercial photographer in Sweden from 1974-1978 before returning to UK. a
Employed at MotorSport magazine and Motoring News for 2 years between 1979-1981 doing F1 Grand Prix which was an excellent grounding in handling large telephoto lenses that was to prove invaluable later on.
Self-employed thereafter as a fashion and advertising photographer.
Clients included J Walter Thompson and Saachi's Ad agencies, Lux soap, Avon cosmetics, Impulse, Good Housekeeping, Grattan.
First trip to Africa in 1982 doing photos for the World Wildlife Fund followed by extensive trips to Kenya, Zambia, Namibia and Botswana doing nature photography as well as commercial work, which funded these trips.
In Botswana between 1992 -2000 did the photography for 3 wildlife books including ....
Prides-The Lions of Moremi by Pieter Kat,
Beyond the Endless Mapani by Chris Harvey
and Tales of the Full Moon by Sue Hart.
Also work has been published in BBC Wildlife and Africa- Wildlife & Environment magazines.
Currently living in Oxfordshire, England with my wife Maggi."
