Ian Shoebotham

Ian lives and works at Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge in the Greater Kruger. His passion for Africa, it’s people and wildlife is boundless.  As a Field Guide he has the opportunity to share this love and knowledge.

He considers himself very fortunate in having found personal fulfillment in relating the wonders of my home to visitors from all corners of the world.  Termites to Lions and everything in between, they all hold a special place in his heart. 

Photography has been a family interest for generations and started with Ian’s grandfathers Yashica (Japanese) 35mm SLR.  Definitely older than he is! 

Although his DSLR kit is quite modest his pictures are magnificent and will provide inspiration for those who feel you need top kit to take top pics…
